About Me

Let’s start at the very beginning (a very good place to start).

I grew up in Stilwell, KS, which is about 40 minutes south of Kansas City. We lived on 20 acres (pictured) and had horses, goats, chickens, dogs, and one one-eyed cat. The rainbow photo probably isn’t squashing any Dorothy allegations anytime soon, but why would I want that ☺︎

I spent my childhood playing sports, traveling around the country competing in basketball, soccer, and golf. In high school, I joined the varsity volleyball team and my school’s dance team. In sixth grade I caught the acting bug when I was cast as Ms. Hannigan in Annie Jr., but I didn’t start pursuing it professionally until graduating from college. Now I let out my sporty side by playing recreational kickball!

I attended the University of Chicago and graduated with honors in both my majors! I did major in the longest titles ever, so forgive me as I type this out. I was a Theater and Performance Studies Major and a Gender and Sexuality Studies Major. I felt like I learned so much about the world and how the little things each person does ripple out to affect our culture as a whole. As a culmination of my studies, I created a BA thesis short film titled Forever Hold Your Peace and analyzed it using Gender Theory.

Then it’s the classic story of farm girl moves out to the big city! I am now a bi-coastal actor! Some of my most recent credits include Co-Star on 9-1-1 (ABC) and a Principal Role on a Sprouts National Commercial.

When I’m not on set, I love to hike, see shows, go to Disneyland, sing, and play with my dogs (her name is Gertie).

That seems like a pretty thorough overview!
